The Quikilver team rider, Iouri Podladtchikov won this afternoon the Burton European Open Halfpipe which was hold in Laax, Switzerland. The Swiss has outclassed his opponents in final defeating Ryo Aono (3rd) and Danny Davis (2nd) in perfect sunny conditions.

Iouri's winning run was made of Frontside 9 tail to backside 900 mute to frontside 1080 double cork and a cab 1080 double cork to finish. This victory puts him in perfect conditions for the US Open to be held from March 7th to 10th and the Winter X Games Tignes which will be held from March 14th to 16th.
