LUCKY 7: Antti Autti
7. When did you start snowboarding and what was your setup back then?
I started spring - 95. I had Nitro Fusion 149 board and Nitro bindings, Askew Boots.
Those boots sucked so bad but Nitro Fusion had a swallow tail and I was stoked on it. Too bad I wasn´t able to ride switch...haha

7.What is the hardest trick that you are stoked to pull?
I really don´t know. I think it depends where you do it. To me hardest thing is doing a trick backcountry that I know I can do in the park easily. Of course without kicker...just natural terrain. That’s what I call snowboarding...at least it´s most difficult and at the end most rewarding as well.

7. Do you ever get scared?
I’m scared everyday. I think it’s good to get scared while riding. You just got to win your fear. Being a bit scared makes me concentrate more for the trick that I’m about to try. Sure you don’t want to be too scared ´cause then your going to end being a Benchwarmer:-)

7. What do you like the best about traveling the world?
Seeing new places, food and people. I’m hardcore music listener so I’m trying to buy music from different countries etc. And for sure different riding locations will always give you a surprises..In good and bad.

7. What would someone not know about you?
That I just bought a jet ski. It’s so much fun to cruise around rivers up in Rovaniemi, Finland. We don’t have waves where I live but I´ve been doing wake surfing behind my jet ski.

7.What is the best snowboard event you ever attended and why?
Air & Style 2006 hands down. Best atmosphere, best kicker, progression was crazy it was great being part of the whole program!

7. What suggestions would you give to someone who aspires to be like you?
My dad use to told me that no matter remember where you´re from and keep your head clear. I’ve been trying to follow that advice. So I guess you should try these: work hard, be modest, keep your own head and most of all don´t ever forget why you started snowboarding....LOVE what you do! I’m still loving it as much as when I was 10 years :-)
